The last time the #18 modified of Kevin Peel took to the dirt, he picked up his first career dirt victory. This time however, luck would not be on his side.

Kevin started the feature at Southern Raceway (Milton, FL) last Saturday night in 11th after coming home 4th in his heat race. He quickly moved his way up to the 8th spot when on lap 4 he was involved in an incident. He was hit in the left rear while attempting to pass on the outside. The contact turned him into oncoming traffic, and he was hit broad side.

Kevin was able to walk away with only a bruised shoulder. The same cannot be said about the car, however, as it is in need of serious repairs. Kevin hopes to be able to get the car back together to be able to race again this coming Saturday at Milton. He would wind up with an official finish of 18th.
