Kevin Peel, fresh off his first career win on a dirt track, had high hopes for this Friday's Rattler Modified 50 lap feature. He didn't quite pull off the victory, but came home with a very strong second place finish.

He started on the outside of the front row, and quickly jumped out to the lead. He couldn't make the lead last however, as he drifted up high allowing three cars to get by him on the inside.

He then avoided a wreck in front of him on lap 34, and inherited the second position where he stayed for the remainder of the race.
