Bad Luck for Kevin at WinterNationals in Milton
Kevin's trip to
Southern Raceway in Milton, FL this past weekend was not
near as successful as he had hoped. Things started off on a
good note for Kevin however on the first of two race nights.
Kevin managed to pull of
a second place finish in his heat race on Friday. The feature
was going fine too, until a fan belt broke while Kevin was
running in the 12th position. The car began to overheat, and
he was forced to retire from the event.
Things only got worse for
the #18 team on Saturday night. An ignition box failure forced
Kevin to miss his heat race, causing him to have to run the B
Main. He had worked his way to the sixth position in the B
Main before his throttle stuck, again ending his night.
Kevin and the team will
sling the dirt again next week at
Blackman Motor Speedway in Blackman, FL for the track's
inaugural race weekend. |
